Spanish Real Estate is a Prime Opportunity for Investors

With reports that the economy in Spain is growing and real estate prices at their best levels in years, these are reason alone to make Spain the prime opportunity for return on investment.

Recent reports also show that the price have stabilised (in fact price rises are now being reported in some areas, including the Mediterranean coastal areas), other studies indicate that Spanish property prices in general should start to increase during 2015 and into 2016.

It is also auspicious to note that property loans in Spain were up almost 30% in the first quarter of 2015 indicating that there is more trust in the market and a downturn in unemployment figures show that the Spanish economy is getting stronger.

And one of the biggest signs that confidence has returned to the Spanish property market is the first year-on-year increase in the number of residential planning approvals since 2006.


What all of this means is that now is as good a time we have seen in ten years for property investors to take advantage of the low property prices, before the projected increases start to kick in. Projections are that unemployment will continue to decrease favorably, which will in turn create greater economic capacity. As the economy grows, prices will begin to increase.
